Match Report: Magosi Dominate with Second-Half Brilliance
Mochudi Centre Chiefs produced a stunning second-half performance to secure a 3–0 victory over Santa Green at the GU Stadium on Friday evening.
In front of a packed stadium, with Magosi supporters in full voice, the team showed resilience after a tough first half, eventually finding their rhythm and putting on a clinical display.
The breakthrough came in the 64th minute when Tefo Mofokeng was brought down inside the box by the opposition goalkeeper. He stepped up with confidence and converted the penalty, giving Chiefs the crucial lead.

With momentum on their side, Chiefs doubled their advantage in the 86th minute. Ronaldo Fortune rose highest to meet a pinpoint cross from Brian Tafhi, nodding the ball into the net to send the home crowd into celebration.
The victory was sealed in style at the 90th minute, when Kgotso Phuti unleashed a superb volley, once again set up by Tafhi, who capped the night with a brace of assists.


It was also a special night for the Magosi family, as our new number 8, Kutlwelo Mpolokang – fondly known as “Mochobedi” – made his long-awaited debut, showing glimpses of the quality he brings to the team.
The result marked a memorable evening for the Chiefs, with all three goals coming in the second half and the supporters playing their part by cheering the team over the line.
